This developed into a friendship along with client relationship where I not only enjoyed the quality of UK sails, they came with his full support and advice whenever needed.
First class service was evident one weekend when we managed to tear a brand new kite on Saturday. We had entered the Harbour Race the next day.
Geoff was in New Zealand at the time but this didn’t stop me calling him for help.
Geoff arranged for it to be picked up from RPYC, taken to loft overnight, repaired and thrown to us on the boat in the harbour 30 minutes before start. Awesome effort.
